Vintage 1940s Grape Themed Book Chain Necklace

Vintage 1940s incredible book chain necklace with a grape theme. Grapes have been used as a sign of success and prosperity so it’s no surprise to see them represented in vintage jewelry.

This is a mixed metal piece with elements that are brass, copper and silver colored.

There is a lot of wear on this necklace. It has been worn and loved over the years. One brass leaf is missing from the design.

All that said …… it’s so exceptionally beautiful.

Age is a sign of beauty to many. It gives this necklace a deep long story.  Imperfectly perfect in every way.
