Vintage 1970s Brass Bib Statement Necklace

This style of necklace became very popular in the late 1960s through the late 1970s. It is often reproduced today but the quality of the original pieces is far superior. You can easily tell this necklace is older because of the weight in the pieces. They also have some wear to them consistent with age. Another sign of quality is that all of the long flat elements are resting on one long piece of metal rather than wire or string. This necklace is adjustable in the back with a flat hook closure.
