Vintage Italian Silk Ballerina Coin Purse

This is a beautiful vintage coin purse with the image of one of the  Degas painted ballerinas on the front. The inside is marked Made in Italy. I believe the material is a brushed silk. Most likely sold as a souvenir to tourists in Italy some time around the 1960s/1970s.

The edges have some wear which definitely adds character to the piece.
