Coro was a high end jewelry company that is best known for their costume jewelry designs. In the late 1930s - to early 1940s Coro released a very small elite line of sterling jewelry. This line was not as successful as their earlier pieces so it was only created for a short time.
This is a red floral spray sterling brooch by Coro. It is marked on the back with Coro and the word Sterling underneath. It also has a Pegasus next to the word Coro which was yet another special line that Coro created.
The red on this brooch is made to resemble beautiful garnets. It is a neutral color that you can wear with almost anything. A pin on the back runs lengthwise and also offers you the opportunity to wear this piece on a chain.
Length: 4 inches
