Vintage Midcentury Heavy Brass Keepsake Box with Ornate Feet

I've had this box for such a long time that I don't remember where I found it. It is extremely heavy for its size which means that it is most likely solid brass. The interior is lined with red cloth to keep your items safe. A French style patter decorates the entire box. Four ornate feet give this piece a little extra height and elegance.

I have not cleaned this box. Some people like patina and others do not but I leave the up to the new owner.
